Sep 9th Shanghai home
These three days in Shanghai is just running around and getting ready for my trip: there are still lots of things to purchase, such as windbreaker, waterproof pants, camera accessories, car charger for laptop, etc. I was in an extremely exciting mood. Almost bought a satellite phone until Lao Gao – my travel partner convinced me not to since he didn’t think it would be that dangerous. Honestly, it was more for the peace of mind.
Went to the Northface flagship store in Shanghai on Monday and I was happy to find the professional clothes – although didn’t find the bright colors I would like to have, at least they’ve got XS which I could never find in Germany!!:) I was also happy to find out that the price is almost the same in China.Honestly imported goods are getting cheaper and cheaper in China, even my Canon EOS 50D camera, the price is nearly the same. I really should have bought it here…
Actually I am being stuck in Shanghai these days because my suitcase still hasn’t arrived yet. But I am actually enjoying it since I get my own space here – I was afraid of the pressure being back home while flying back, this several days gave me some buffer…
Three more days to go and I am getting really excited…
